Positive: Nice views and wildlife. Hot tub suite was great. Comfortable bed and linens. Room cosy and all amenities there were good. The animals at reception are very cute. We were given an earlier check in and all was ready. After a mix up with bookings we were offered a hot tub suite at a discounted rate.

Negative: The room adjacent to us were having a party after 10.00pm which is clearly listed as quiet time. However, staff were heard addressing this promptly and professionally. People come to stay here to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings so this was appreciated.

Summary: Lovely place to come and unwind.

Positive: Location great. Close to motorway, however country vibe. Easy check in, very friendly on arrival. Spacious room. Funky lighting options. Handy microwave, crockery in foyer of cabins if you need it. Very comfy bed. Good linen. Lakeside decking to sit and watch the ducks and geese. Also great to see happy pig, alpacas, goats on the way to reception.

Negative: Not much that didn't like..the only thing I found was the duvet was incredibly thin. I have a 1 tog summer duvet at home and it was like that. I was actually cold in bed as had no weight to it. No spare blanket or anything in the wardrobe. It did drop to 3 oC that night. But id suggest a better duvet for the bed. I couldn't ask at reception as they had closed early due to being a bank holiday.

Summary: Quiet, calm space. Would return.

Positive: I liked the location and the staff were friendly. Check in was nice and straight forward

Negative: I had two bookings, in the family room 10 it was very unclean. The door of the living area was broken so the smell of the horse manure was very unpleasant and we couldn't really sit in there. Cob webs and spiders all over the ceiling too. The room room was fine and clean 🙂 some positive feedback- you really need a small fence up on the rooms that are leak view as its a little dangerous i feel and I could not of stayed in that room with 3 children.

Negative: The bed was very uncomfortable, the door leading out onto the decking was very hard to open & when the door was shut there was a gap down the side, letting alot of cold air in the room, as it was very windy when we stayed. There was no fence or barrier at the end of the decking, a child could easily full in the water. The tap in the bathroom at the sink was all wobbly and very lose. May seem like little things, but they can matter.
