Positive: Breakfast was excellent, freshly cooked eggs and lovely big pot of tea. My husband had the full English while I enjoyed the smoked salmon bagel with avocado and poached eggs.

Negative: It was all very good.

Positive: The breakfast offered a good selection of plated options cooked to order and catered for dietary requirements. The staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to be accommodating, particularly in allowing us a very late check out following our stay.

Negative: There was an old contact lens on the floor of our room as well as some crumbs which looked like bourbon biscuits by one of the feet of the bed. The room was otherwise clean and extremely comfortable. The lack of availability of food in the evening (we stayed on a Monday) was a bit of a shame, but we were made aware of this on booking, phoned as a reminder a few days before our stay and provided with plates and cutlery to serve up food which we collected from a local takeaway, so we didn't go hungry!

Positive: What an amazing place! Wished we’d booked here for two nights instead of another hotel. The room was stunning with an amazing view of the golf course. Fabulous roll topped bath in the room and walk in shower! The perfect way to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary! There was some bubbly chilling when we entered the room. It’s those touches that make this hotel so special. Great happy and welcoming staff and fabulous breakfast! Would love to come back. Thank you x
