Positive: Beautiful place and setting.

Negative: Very challenging to get around without a car. Bus comes nearby, but a pretty good walkk to get back and forth, especially for seniors. We spent a good bit on taxi rides.

Summary: Perfect for a peaceful stay! Host Siddhan was wonderful. So accommodating!

Positive: Lovely accommodating host. There was a nice collection of food for us when we arrived sooooo tired from our flight and travels. The view were beautiful and the bed was comfortable. There was a washing machine 🤙

Positive: Great house, out of the way, quiet, but a great location ... 20 mins nice walk to town, coast, shops and facilities. Kind of country but close enough to the city. Great access to more rural areas.

Positive: We loved the quiet location in the little town. Our host was excellent. The place was spacious.

Negative: I didn’t like that we repeatedly got notices from Connemara Booking that we had not paid though we had done so weeks before. It must be some sort of a form letter, but every time I received it it felt like I was being scammed.

Summary: I would love to return to The Uplands.

Positive: Everything. It was a bright, spacious and quiet retreat from city life, yet not far from Galway city. The house was furnished and equipped to a high standard and was spotless. We especially liked the conservatory dining area with views of Galway bay. Siobhan was great to deal with and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were just a couple, but the house could easily accommodate a family or up to 3 couples traveling together. Highly recommend the Uplands.

Positive: This property is like a home away from home. It is so comfortable, has everything you need and really allows you to relax as it is the perfect house for it! The beds were so comfortable, the couches were amazing and the facilities were top class! You are only a 2 minute drive from Spiddal and a short pleasant coastal drive to Galway city. I can’t speak highly enough about the Uplands
