Summary: From the moment we arrived the staff were welcoming and helpful. The room was compact, well equipped and comfortable. In the evening we enjoyed a good meal in the restaurant whilst breakfast was a delight.

Summary: The hotel is in a beautiful and restful setting. The staff could not have been more helpful. The restaurant food was brilliant. We enjoyed seeing the peacocks and other birds in the grounds.

Summary: Staff amazing very kind & helpful. Beds super comfy. The whole place spotlessly clean. Food was delicious & very ample. We had coffee/scones, breakfast & evening meal all great. If in Devon again I would def be back.

Summary: Very impressed with way we were welcomed, service excellent. Romm clean, warm and comfortable. The food was excellent. All in all a very enjoyable stay.

Summary: Overall, our two-night stay was okay, but for the price we paid, we expected more. The rooms were decent, although there was a bit of mold in the corners, and there was quite a bad smell in the hallway. Dinner was fine, though when I asked for some bread to go with the (quite good) mussels, I was given two slices of plain brown toast with butter - and was charged £4.50 for it. The staff were friendly and eager to help, which we appreciated. However, the overall value for money — both for the room and the food - was disappointing, and we would not choose to stay here again.
