Positive: Very welcoming on check-in, a lovely bar and good food still being served when I arrived. Room had recently been redecorated and was very comfortable and quiet - very much appreciated for a good sleep!

Negative: WiFi coverage in the room was poor, but TV worked fine and WiFi strength was more than enough in the bar, dining and breakfast areas.

Summary: Very enjoyable, comfortable and friendly, would happily stay again.

Positive: Last minute booking of a single room but was given a double room with plenty of storage options available after being upgraded on arrival. Friendly greeting on arrival. Food/drink was served in the bar for a short time after my arrival. Fantastic water pressure from the shower. A good variety of breakfast options were available including juices.

Negative: Not a major issue for me but there was limited lighting from the carpark up to the key card access to the main building

Positive: Great location. Great building.....spacious, warm much cosy, very affordable!! The Boss, Chris, very helpful for a klutz like me who realised when driving halfway to Portsmouth he'd left his wallet on the dresser!! 🤦

Positive: Lovely room with a bath, comfortable bed and good pillows. Nice toiletries provided too. A generous amount of tea and coffee in the room with a kettle and a coffee machine. TV has all the apps (you need to use your own account and remember to log out!) A self-service continental breakfast available from 7am. Big car park and lockable bike storage. A 45 min safe cycle to the QECP parkrun. Self checkout as early as you like or late checkout to 11am.

Negative: Could be a little noisy from the road / water system if you’re a light sleeper. I always travel with earplugs and it was fine - I slept through midnight on NYE! Big hill to cycle up if you’re coming from Petersfield - not a negative on the property at all but just for info! On the plus side it’s fun coming down!

Summary: Great stay, handy for the QECP parkrun if you have transport.
