Negative: AC was positioned in oyr room in a way to blow cold air directly towards the bed. Really uncomfortable.

Positive: A beautiful space that reflects local history. Staff are friendly and the venue is perfect for exploring the village.

Negative: Travelled with elderly relatives (60-85 years old). They struggled with the very dim lighting in the room and corridors. This is likely a bigger struggle during the winter months when there isn't extra light coming through the large windows.

Positive: The location is excellent and has the very nice services of Fiskars right outside the door. The hotel was in excellent condition and the lounge is really nice. We had a nice view of the river from our window.

Negative: The bed was on the smaller side and the pillows were not that comfortable

Positive: The hotel has been beautifuly renovated, the fascilities are exceptional and high quality within an old building. Breakfast had everything we felt necessary with quality over quantity. We enjoyed the spciaous lounge with a fire place to relax with a book. We were also offered a sauna shift which we weren’t expecting but the hotel provided everything we needed to enjoy the sauna. Location couldn’t have been better. Overall we felt well looked after in beautiful scenery and relaxed after a weekend in the gorgeous village of Fiskars.

Summary: This is the perfect get-away with a combination of culture and vintage appeal as well as modern luxury.

Positive: The breakfast exceeded our expectations and even though it was a small buffet selection it was high quality and better than the typical hotel breakfast in Finland. Also the hotel's lounge was very inviting and stylish. Overall the building and it's decor was very nice!

Negative: The room did not have a refrigerator as advertised. The lighting in the bathroom was poor and the room overall was quite dark (adding even one more table or floor lamp could help). The bed was hard and the pillows provided were uncomfortable. Also the walls and doors seemed to let a lot of noise through, for example at 2.30am some other guests loudly arrived on our floor likely drunk/after a party and the noise from the hallway woke us up.

Summary: The town of Fiskars is beautiful with lots to see and experience, will definitely visit there again!
