Positive: Great location! It is a charming house, full of character. I would choose to stay there again.

Negative: It was dusty on shelves and in corners. It stirred up some allergies. I would suggest installing grab bars in the bathrooms for showers and tubs.

Positive: Liked that there was plenty of towels. Didn’t like the mold/mildew in the primary bedroom sitting area. The laundry room was excellent & we appreciated they had plenty of laundry detergent. Would have liked some dryer sheets, but that wasn’t a big deal. Being that it was advertised as family friendly, we felt it should be better maintained, with safety in mind. The deck was in very poor shape & there were railroad ties with large nails sticking out of them! We didn’t like that one of the toilet bowl cleaners looked to be full of paper & poop, that was very gross! All-in-all we felt it was a cool house with great potential, but it definitely needs some improvements made & in the cleaning/care of the property.

Summary: It was your typical quick beach trip that wasn’t improved or ruined by the accommodations.

Positive: Great location, plenty of parking. The house was really clean. The housekeeping staff really cared about our needs and helped out to the best of their ability. While small, the kitchen was well equipped for our needs.

Negative: The owners need to buy new sheets, pillows, and extra blankets. The sheets were thin and poor quality. The pillows smelled funny and were old. The comforters on all the beds were thin. There were no appropriately sized extra blankets. The house was cold and took forever to warm up. The twin mattresses leaned inward and the king mattress was incredibly soft.

Summary: Lovely clean house, great location. Sheets were shabby.

Positive: Location, and the lay out of the home. It is a beautiful place. You can tell it is aged, but that adds to the charm.
