Positive: The apartment is absolutely lovely, we felt really at home and the whole pub itself is a beautiful, historic building. The staff were incredibly welcoming and the food was fantastic. We planned to eat elsewhere the second night but food was so food we had dinner their again! The pub is only a short drive from Woodbridge and it’s also very easy and affordable to get a taxi. The village of Shottisham itself is absolutely beautiful. Highly recommend a stay here, particularly for families!

Positive: Great location and the staff at the pub and communication with the host was super easy and friendly. The flat had plenty of space inside and there was lots of green space outside in the pub garden to make use of. Some good little paths out of the door that were great for the dog.

Negative: The kitchen is great for quick meals and the pub is open for food Wednesday-Sunday, but might be a bit tight for anyone looking to fully self-cater. Didn't bother us given it was just family, but the double bedroom doesn't have a door and is divided from the corridor by a curtain.

Negative: Only negative was the pub was closed for our visit, we would have enjoyed a meal and drinks downstairs as we had to drive out both nights as we didn't want to cook!
