Summary: It was a last minute emergency booking. It was clean, tidy and the service was good. Nothing more and nothing less. Fine as a stop over point. It’s part of the best western next door, which isn’t clear at booking.

Summary: Everything was great except they upgraded me to a room with 2 beds instead of a king. I wanted a king. My wife and I had to sleep in separate beds. If you didn't have a king you shouldn't accept the reservation.

Summary: After passing the hotel 3 or 4 times as there are no signs whatsoever to say that this was the 'Texas Lodge' we found the reception staff friendly and helpful, the complimentary cold beers were a definite plus!! The room was spacious and clean, as was the bed, which was very comfortable. The air conditioning was very effective. The only downside, which is not really the hotel's fault, was that the room had been smoked in despite being a non-smoking room. This seems to be a common problem in American hotels and motels. Overall a very pleasant stay.
