Positive: Quiet, comfortable house in a good location for exploring the local area. It was nice and cool in the heatwave! Great for taking a dog as the garden is completely enclosed.

Negative: The spiral staircase to the upper bedroom was quite difficult to navigate and wasn't mentioned in the details before we arrived. The garden could do with some T&C.

Positive: Great location for visiting Longleat and Stonehenge. Lovely village location near park which was perfect for kids. Board games good fun.

Negative: Upstairs/winding staircase not that safe for young children (we have a 5 and 8 year old). Adults had to sleep upstairs in same room as children to make sure they didn't get up in the night and fall down stairs. Could do with barrier/gate at top of stairs for peace of mind.

Summary: Great location and accommodation to stay for a few days.

Positive: Excellent location and beautifully renovated property. Well equipped with everything needed for our stay. Easy and friendly communication from host. Lovely bed linens and pillows. Loved the use of artefacts from the original building.

Negative: The property could do with a good clean. Most of it just minor but the toilet seat was not clean at all and had to be cleaned before use. The bed was very uncomfortable and this is the only thing that would stop us staying again, it really does need a proper mattress.

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and with a different mattress would definitely stay again.

Positive: Loved the open plan layout, which was perfect for us. We were able to cook while the baby toddled around in view. Cute little place, would definately stay again. As wasn't able to explore the area as much as we'd like due to bad weather and flooding. So was very grateful for such a lovely little place to chill and catch up with family. Felt very much like home for the 3 days we were there. Garden is a good size and secure but didn't use due to the rain. Good location with budgens nearby for any forgotten items.

Negative: Bed upstairs quite small, and hard (futon style rather than a normal matress). The stairs were a little difficult to negotiate, especially if you are on the larger side as space is tight and steps quite small. Would have liked a small saucepan, but made do with the two larger one's available. Hi

Positive: Fantastic little place perfectly situated for all the places we wanted to visit. Very quiet location with a lovely little garden that our dog loved. Great communication from the host. Will definitely book to stay again.

Negative: Nothing that we disliked. Just a suggestion that a microwave in the kitchen would be great.

Positive: No breakfast. Location suited our needs for visiting family in Sutton Veny. Pleased we could take our elderly dog.

Negative: Bottle shelf in fridge door was broken as was the handle in the bath. We only shower and found that the over the bath shower was messy but we did wipe everything down after we had used it. There was a coffee stain on the wall by the dishwasher, which we did not use. Would be handy if the instryction for using kitchen items was in a folder on the table. We found them by luck!!

Summary: Feel the property could do with some tlc, but overall suited our needs for a couple of days.
