Summary: I really enjoyed my stay at The Swan Inn. The manager was particularly helpful regarding my late arrival. Bed very comfortable.

Summary: We arrived at 1.30pm and asked for lunch but were told they didn't have a chef at the moment. We ate at another pub in the village where we were told that the place we were staying in hadn't had a chef for months! We had booked to attend a gig that night nearby so had no option but to stay there. No chef however, also meant no breakfast and so we left at 9.00am. No apologies given, and when we questioned the chalkboard in the bar offering food, we were told they 'hadnt had time to alter it'. Although the beds were comfy, and the shower pretty good, the windows were filthy, and the bathrom one had a broken catch so it couldn't be closed. Should have advised about the lack of food as it spoilt our stay really, as I booked months in advance

Summary: Good position in Center of village has its own spacious car park. Very friendly. It’s an old pub in an old property it’s got character. Lighting in bedroom was poor, but beds very comfortable and room clean.

Summary: Gorgeous night in a super comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Great to have a dog friendly room (though warning only the double room - number 5 - is dog friendly). Deep bath with great hot water (I love to bathe!)

Summary: Situated right in middle of Sturminster with parking round the back so no parking fees. The staff were friendly and helpful. Room was very clean with comfortable beds. Bathroom was clean but needed a bit of attention to mould in grouting around shower area. Lovely soft large towels

Summary: Our regular return to the Swan was very enjoyable. The room was clean and tidy. As always the welcome was warm and the service very good. A lovely old building but with modern and appropriate facilities. It was reasonable value for money. Looking forward to our next visit already!
