A lovely spot for a quiet “couple’s retreat” or a relaxing "girls' getaway". The main floor of this bright, comfortable house is the perfect base for your stay in "The County". It's on a quiet one-way street a block from Picton's downtown. (The well-appointed kitchen, central location and 7-day discount make it great for weekly stays.)
The apartment is ideal for 1 or 2 adults and spacious enough for another couple if you use the comfortable and private sofa bed. A nice space for a small dinner party if not for a more boisterous gathering. You can walk to the centre of town in five minutes and browse the shops, restaurants, art galleries, the Regent Theater and more. You’ll find the well designed, well-equipped kitchen is a pleasure to cook in. After dinner, you can stream free movies and shows on Prime, Netflix or Roku (sorry - no satellite or cable). If you want to read, talk, play a game or just relax, the sitting room is the perfect place. The bathroom is spacious and pretty with good water pressure, a rain shower/deep tub and clean, line-dried towels. The bedroom is cozy with a very comfortable queen-sized bed and clean, cotton percale sheets (also line-dried). The sofa bed in the TV room is private and also comfortable if you have guests or friends staying. You'll be happy you booked with us and you'll be back!
It's all scent-free and I operate it in an environmentally conscious way.
NOTE – I love dogs but I need to know about yours at time of booking (The rules say small well-behaved and non-shedding but I’m known for my flexibility so let’s talk.)

Summary: The house was super cute, spacious, clean, and the location was fabulous. Close distance to the city centre, on a quiet street. Megan lives downstairs (separate entrance), which I don't believe was disclosed in the booking. However, that didn't hinder our stay, we just felt we should be a bit more quiet. Hidden gem in Picton!

Summary: We needed a pet friendly rental as we have an 18 month old Westie,We could not have asked for more, all our needs were met.We spent more time than anticipated in the house as the weather did not cooperate for outdoor activities.Megan had left directions to the leash free dog park which was very helpfulThe decor really suited the house and made our stay very comfortable..The location is perfect for strolling to either the Marina and 1 block from the Main Street where there is a host of restaurants and shopping.I would recommend this VRBO to everyone.All Megan’s notes were very helpful also .

Summary: Megan is very accommodating. I originally wanted to book a date but I was unable to get it and had to book a different date. When the original date became free, she messaged me just to ask me if I still want to move my reservation. That’s going beyond!The placenis located at the heart of main Picton so yiu can walk to the popular spots plus all the other tourist spots are all under 30min drive. The place is clean, quiet, had all that you need. The bed and beddings were comfortable. All the info you need is prepared ahead of time plus around the house there are notes she left (so cute!) to guide you of some house rules or just general info.Thank you Megan for the wondeful stay we had at Sunny Place!
