Summary: We were staying here because our bathroom is being renovated and will definitely stay again. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable with a brilliant shower that I did not have to faff around with adjusting, just turned on and it was the perfect temperature. The underfloor heating makes the room very warm although one can open the windows. In kinder weather, there are chairs outside each of the rooms to sit on and enjoy a drink or smoke, and the pub itself is a friendly and comfortable place just to sit down and have tea/coffee or a drink. It is not 24 hour service but there is a 24 hour M&S Simply food across the road (though be careful crossing if on foot). Breakfast begins at 8 a.m. weekdays and 9 a.m. Sunday. I prefer this smaller place (10 rooms) to a larger hotel, where I feel shut in and have to traverse corridors and stairs to get out. As Coate Water adjacent to the Sun, there is a lot of greenery and fresh air despite the busy road. (I was thrilled to hear a thrush at 6.30 a.m). Altogether it was a very cosy and comfortable experience.

Summary: As soon as I booked in Bridget made me feel right at home.which as a solo traveller I really appreciated. I observed other staff being friendly and welcoming to customers, not in a way that made them sound as though they had to be like that but because they genuinely behaved like that. The room was a good size very clean and the bed was comfortable. The food I had was good too. All in all an excellent experience with a team being led by a lady passionate about giving quality service Thoroughly recommend a stay here

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Sun Inn. On arrival we were made very welcome and given all the information we needed for our stay. The room was very comfortable with all the facilities we needed. The breakfast offered a variety of choices which was a great start to our day. All staff were friendly and approachable. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

Summary: We had a lovely 2-night stay, the staff could not be any better, very personable, always jolly and happy to have a bit of banter. It's great to see that, even though there has been a change of hands, The Sun Inn us still a great place to stay. The Breakfast selection was set up just right, you could choose from a piece of toast to a full English, there was even an option of a bigger full English lol. Dining in the evening was superb, smallish menu, but something for all. All in all we had a great stay whilst visiting a couple of local attractions on our holiday.
