Positive: The location is excellent. You are right in the centre of Stromness. We stayed two nights, which was sufficient to see the place and visit Kirkwall. The property is lovely quaint building. It has everything you need. Its self catering so you can stay in or eat at The Ferry Inn, which I would recommend. The owners leave you a breakfast hamper, milk, and butter, which is a nice touch. They owner is able to be contacted if you have any questions.

Negative: The only thing is there is no wardrobe or drawers but space is limited to fit one in the bedroom area. There is hooks on doors.

Positive: The kitchen was well equipped and the place was nicely located between the center of town and the coastal walking track

Negative: No storage in the bedroom other than under the bed.

Positive: We were met at the door, given the keys and told a bit about the studio and how to work things, plus given information about the village and local events. The recommendation for the folk music night was excellent. So much better than a lock box and page of instructions!
