Positive: Everything was beyond our expectations. Tatia and Jim are excellent hosts and made us feel welcome. The house is beautifully decorated and our room was very comfortable. The grounds are quiet and secluded even though they are near the town center. So nice to have coffee and pastries waiting for us in the morning. We will definitely be back.
Negative: Everything was wonderful. Can’t say anything that disappointed us.
Summary: The place to stay when visiting the Sharon Springs area.

Positive: Loved the building and the authenticity of the whole establishment and grounds.
Negative: If some plans to stay there arriving in day light is helpful because it is easy to miss in the dark and the drive to the building can be spooky if you are not aware of it.

Positive: It It was a charmingly decorated old house with lovely character. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. Enjoying the scone, coffee in the morning, along with plenty of snacks and spring water, was a delightful experience.
Negative: Since it was our first time ever staying in an old house with the owner living on the property (who was very nice), it felt a bit awkward. However, overall, the stay was comfortable.
Summary: Charming, comfy stay with a wonderful host

Positive: An absolute delight being in such a fabulous house that hasn't had its historic charm altered, among beautiful antiques. We arrived after dark and woke to an incredible view out a giant window in the room. Tatia was wonderfully friendly and accommodating... Woke to fresh baked scones! The property and surroundings were beautiful and my dog and I had a nice morning walk down the tree lined lane...like being in a Jane Austin novel. They were so generous letting us interact with their antiques and wander freely ...what a treat. Lovely hostess.
Negative: I think the fact that they are still restoring the outside stairs or the entry drive was a little rustic just contributed to the authenticity of the experience...you could really picture the property in days of yore, not at all the polished fake feeling of other restored inns. No TV, shared bath...perfect really.
Summary: Unique chance to enjoy a relaxing retreat at a charming historic property.

Summary: Wonderful!!!
