Summary: This is a beautiful hotel in an excellent location. I would have rated it a 5, but unfortunately there were a few issues. The refrigerator didn’t work, and it wasnt fixed even after we brought it to staff's attention. Also, the conditioner bottle in the shower was empty, and the body wash was nearly empty. And the in room coffee is not good. There were many plusses: the rooftop terrace where we listened to live music, the ice cream shop across the street, the dinosaur museum a couple blocks away. The hotel restaurants did not disappoint and they were reasonably priced. The cafe offers a $7 soup and salad bar which included a delicious clam chowder, and the restaurant provided a large selection of seafood dishes on Friday.

Summary: It is a beautiful hotel, Very clean and friendly. However the corner baseboard fell off, the handle on the shower came off and the toilet was installed with out a lid. Maintenance fixed the shower door handle immediately and put in an work order for the baseboard. The lack of a toilet lid is gross. Every time a toilet without a lid is flushed, micro bits of dirty water will disperse. Whoever decided to install toilets like that are ignorant of the hygienic impact to the bathroom environment.

Summary: Location was great and service and staff very friendly. Even though it was an older hotel it had a unique atmosphere and upscale features.
