Positive: From the moment we arrived, we felt truly welcomed. The staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and cared for, and their warmth made the stay extra special. Positive: Amazing views from our superior room, onto the Ortakoy mosque and the Bosphorus Bridge; they made our stay. Comfortable and beautifully furnished room. Very convenient location for taking ferries, including to the cruise terminal.

Negative: Breakfast buffet was expensive (so we ate elsewhere). The toilet made a loud noise when flushed (like a horn of a departing ship, fittingly enough) and the overhead shower head poured water rather than spaying it.

Positive: From our suite on the top, fourth, floor, the view of the Ortakoy mosque was incredible. You also get Bosphorus views and it's a real perch in Istanbul, especially if it's your first time to the city. They have great coffee and a nice breakfast spread and the staff was really happy and friendly. Loved the chandelier and fun wall details. Oh, and the bed was incredibly soft and comfortable.

Negative: The room looked far larger online than in reality. We had the largest suite in the hotel. It was tough to even be in the bathroom, as your elbows nearly hit the walls. The shower door opens into the sink. It's super super cramped and not great water pressure. Room needed a bit of TLC too in places. For the price of $510 for one night, I'd say it's way over-priced for a suite. If you could find it for $300, stay here, but I would not pay more.
