Summary: Great little hotel in a lovely location. All the staff are super friendly and the food is excellent. Rooms are great (some low ceilings but I am 6'6" so used to that lol) Great hotel and pub/restaurant.

Summary: Our limited time at the Stag on the River was greatly appreciated and enjoyed. Matt made a great impression and went out of his way to point out a hidden gem trail to the elevated farmland. Wish we had more time to stay longer.

Summary: Fabulous location. Evening meal excellent...breakfast left a bit to be desired...service poor. BUT...the host took the cost of breakfast off the bill without being asked. She recognised the issues before i raised them.....so 10/10 for that!

Summary: We had a great stay. The room was small but perfectly fine for what we needed. Very cute and English. The breakfast was great! We loved it. And we also had dinner there a couple nights and the food was good. I needed WiFi as I had to work on the morning - but the Connection was really poor.. this would be the only downside for me
