Positive: A relatively secluded very rural and peaceful setting conveniently situated for our needs. The accommodation is comfortable, not overlooked and is well equipped with appliances and the basics. Thanks for the litle welcome pack bottle of wine and beer - much appreciated. John was a welcoming and helpful host. Instructions for the very good quality appliances, microwave and oven might be helpful, though I worked them out. We very much enjoyed our week at the Stable and would happily book again for another Boston trip. The dogs, both quite elderly now, enjoyed their walks up the lane opposite and onto the public footpath. The Leagate Inn is a short drive away at Coningsby and serves excellent food. Nice fly overs by both the Lancaster and a Spitfire - they must have heard we were visiting ...

Negative: The bathroom wet room isn't the easiest - we used a squeegee from the car and our own large microfibre cloth to dry the walls and floor. Personally I'd redesign the shower curtain rail to continue in an arc across the ceiling in front of the loo. The garden is fenced, but it's quite low in places and an enterprising dog could quite easily get out by hopping over. Our two are both ex agility competitiors so I kept a precautionary long line clipped on as there are rabbits in the fields.

Summary: A very nice holiday cottage we would revisit.

Positive: Nice kitchen diner, they made good use of the space. Decent size bedroom. Shower/toilet is basically an ensuite, small but adequate. Very generous with towels, tea towels loo roll and soap. A bottle of wine and beer waiting for us in the fridge. Off road parking and the host is very nice fellow. Couldn't have done more for us I think.

Negative: Shower a little temperamental.

Summary: Very nice little place. Nice garden complete with Bantams and rabbits. RAF Coningsby 5 miles away.
