Positive: The setting of the hotel is perfect. The dining g room has been tastefully decorated The staff were wonderful.

Negative: Our room was small and the tariff said it was the cheapest by far. We didn't sleep because of bright light outside our window on all night.Noise of machines from the kitchen until late. Extremely small bathroom. Disappointing from booking .com 😕

Positive: Beautiful hotel room was really lovely. Fantastic river and good for walks food ok not as good as we have had there before for some reason.

Negative: Staff reception I really don’t know what was going on really. Felt like we shouldn’t have been there like we were an inconvenience. Ok it was on a couple of days past new years. But really just no welcoming smile or conversation. Felt rushed out of restaurant even though I booked ages ago for 7.30. Batter on fish soggy. And in morning no toast with breakfast had to ask for some coffee cold. Just didn’t feel comfortable. Made me think we had done something wrong even though we hadn’t.

Summary: Not sure we would go back after this time’s experience even though we love this place.
