Positive: The Smithy was clean, tastefully decorated and well furnished. The kitchen was well-equipped and Jayne had left a lovely welcome tray of teas, coffees etc. We all slept well as the beds were comfy, the area is very quiet and the property was toasty! Spencer explained clearly how to work the hot tub, and we used it every day. From the Smithy we explored Birmingham, Worcester and the local villages.

Negative: A couple of things had recently been broken and the owners were in process of fixing these (the flooring in the shower, the lights round the hot tub) Advice: Take a torch to get to the hot tub area when it's dark, and be careful - the decking is slippery when wet (we were warned).
