Positive: Everything was exceptionally good. We didn’t want for anything I loved all the little gestures that made it beautiful. There was nothing we needed. The bed was so cosy and comfortable, the location was peaceful and stunning. I will definitely be back again I have told all of my family about it. :) thank you so much for a welcoming stay. And the fresh milk and eggs from the farm were a beautiful touch! Just wish we could have got a cuddle of the doggies this morning hehe :)!

Negative: The only thing that lets it down is for the price that is charged for 1 night I think the fire wood should be in within the price! Paying £12 extra for wood, that was wet and didn’t light so we had to go Asda to buy some fire starter anyway was not ideal. Also found someone’s sock from their previous stay under our bed. And the ash from previous stay hadn’t been removed from the ash bucket. And check in after 3pm so we didn’t get long there. But that’s the only thing I would pick at. Everything else was exceptional :).

Positive: The Yurt was a cool experience,I loved the roof stucture and cntral light. The bed was very warm and comfortable, there was a lot of facilities and exquipment in the yurt and wifi worked fine. There was milk in the fridge for tea and coffee.

Negative: I kept banging my head on the low door comimg in and out - the chairs were a little uncomfortable (for me) - though nothing actually wrong with them. The main problem was the high wind on the second night made sleep difficult and the shower and toilet block was a bit of a trek across the field.

Summary: A good experience, more camping than hotel, but well run and equiped.

Negative: I m afraid I wasn’t keen on the 100m trek to the toilet block, or the fact there was just one toilet & one shower for a number of accommodations. Unfortunately our 2nd night was spoilt by music being played loudly all through the night - I don’t think it was at Scottie’s farm but it might be worth checking with neighbours as to the source.

Summary: Glad I visited, always wanted to try a Yurt but I am definitely a hotel person.
