Positive: Great location, nice and quiet but with easy access. Very friendly host and comfy. Small touches like eggs and milk in fridge, and a cream tea on arrival were a nice touch.

Positive: Host Mike was very welcoming, friendly and flexible, we had some good chats, (he may disagree!!). The property was really lovely, he had done a fantastic job in designing and adapting the building. It was very organised, comfortable, organised and perfect for me as near family and friends who I was visiting over the Christmas period. Bed was very comfortable which I appreciated as had so much experience with soft mattresses' which give me a bad back. I absolutely loved having the log burner, for a winter visit, made it cosy and warm. I loved the property and enjoyed my visit very much, would return.

Negative: It was unfortunate for me that the WI-FI was down (though Mike explained the problem and obviously couldn't be fixed as was a holiday period). I think that, either, an addition of smart TV would be an added bonus, or, a heads-up on this so one had the option to packed their choice of DVDs. Summer bookings: probably won't be watching TV!

Positive: Nice, relaxing and quiet. But easy distance to visit many local places ( information in property, detailing what was local and further afield). Host very friendly and approachable. Cream tea food, had been left, also milk in fridge to use, which was a lovely touch. Full range of utensils etc in kitchen cupboards. Logs for the fire, if required. Books and games to use. TV radio DVDs in property. Comfy bed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Negative: Should have stayed longer.

Summary: 5* accommodation, would highly recommend.
