Positive: The property is understated luxury, well presented and the staff are super friendly and helpful. Is it private and perfect place for a group of friends wanting a luxurious stay in privacy. The hotel also runs surf retreats and day trip around Sri Lanka. I wish I could have stayed longer!

Positive: Stunning/Exceptional. Stunning Environment Exceptional staff Out of this world food. Can’t say enough about the quality of taste of the home cooked food. Host was fantastic and enormously helpful I just can’t say enough good things about this stunning place set in beautiful surroundings

Positive: It was stunning!!! The rooms and the view from the balcony was amazing, monkeys in the trees. An amazing place to relax and unwind. The food was also amazing as were all the staff - so friendly and welcoming, they couldn’t do enough. I will definitely coming back!!!

Positive: I had a really lovely stay at The Sevana. It’s peaceful, set in nature, and feels very easy to relax into. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the food is fresh and full of flavour, and everything feels well thought through. The team were warm and helpful without being over the top. Just a really nice place to switch off. Will definitely return!

Positive: The Sevana has to be the most beautiful and peaceful place I have stayed in Sri Lanka, I have been here for more than 3 years! The setting amongst the jungle and rice fields is tranquil, the attention to every detail and quality in every aspect of the stay. From flowers on arrival, a spacious room with balcony, beautiful pool and fabulous food. The perfect place to relax and unwind.
Negative: Only that I didn't stay longer! I will definitely be back.

Positive: We had such a lovely stay at The Sevana. It’s set slightly away from the busier areas, which makes it feel incredibly peaceful and private. You’re completely immersed in nature, waking up to the sounds of birds and wildlife, and we even had monkeys passing through the trees outside our room, which made it feel really special and very Sri Lanka. The design of the hotel is beautiful and feels very considered. It sits so naturally within the landscape rather than feeling imposed on it, and the rooms are spacious, calm, and really comfortable. It’s the kind of place where you can properly switch off. There are several social spaces, so I can see how the surf retreats would work really well here, bringing people to together. I really enjoyed the pool area too. The food was also a highlight. Simple, fresh, and full of flavour, with a lovely mix of Sri Lankan dishes. Everything felt homemade and thoughtful rather than overcomplicated. The team were absolutely wonderful. So warm and helpful, they helped organise our transport to our next destination, suggesting a few things to do close by, and gave us space to relax. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble.
Negative: Only had one night there as we were on a tight schedule. I would definitely come back, its the best place we stayed on our trip.
Summary: A peaceful, beautifully designed escape in nature - I want to go back!
