Positive: Very close to seafront and shops. Modern interior. Superb cleanliness. Most things look brand new.

Negative: No instructions book for the t.v, washing machine etc. Loud at night time with music from pubs. Bed huge but mattress seems old and springy. Shower a little manic as doesn't drain fast enough. No facilities for getting ready in big bedroom like dressing table or mirror. Says sofa bed on the website but was told on arrival there wasn't one , there actually was but it was broken. To be fair though, the owners seemed local and I'm sure would have helped with instructions etc if asked.

Summary: Pleasant but missing touches.

Positive: Very nice and comfortable and clean, and very central to the town and ferry.

Negative: Found the television a bit difficult to get the normal stations.

Summary: We used Largs as a base and we visited the islands.

Positive: Everything was wonderful beautiful clean little gem has everything you need for couple of nights away very local to everything and little garden outside is a bonus 💯

Negative: We couldn't get the tvs to work in bedrooms contacted hazel who offered to come down from Glasgow to fix the problem which was very kind of her we didn't ask her to come all the way down we used the tv in living room

Positive: Furniture and fixtures were of a high standard. Great location, very central, clean and everything you need for self catering. It had an outside garden space which was a bonus especially during the good spell of weather ,although it looks like an area of work in progress.

Negative: On arrival it seemed quite dark inside but the owners had done a good job with a variety of lighting available. The bathroom needs a shelf for toiletries etc and a couple of rails or hooks for hanging towels on. There was no extractor fan in the kitchen, but cooking didn't trigger any smoke alarms.
