Summary: I interpreted "free parking" to mean there was a hotel Car Park - but there was not. This is misleading - however the street parking was very convenient so it was not a huge issue. BUT it was a cold late September night because of high atmos. pressure and there was no heating in our room. Despite the quite thick duvey we had an uncomfortable night. Breakfast was good

Summary: It was great, except that karaoke night was a bit loud. Luckily, most of the participants were in good voice.

Summary: Stayed in room 8. There was black mould on the on the ceiling , mould on the bottom shower trim, no plug in the bathroom, the water from the tap only tricked.. There was cobwebs in the room , the window didn't close. There was thick dust on the top of the wardrobe and on the top of the 4 poster bed, only one side lamp was plugged into an electrical socket, there was no mattress protector and the mattress was 4 inches from the headboard.i was not given the wi fi password so I couldn't use their internet. The best thing was the breakfast

Summary: Shabby, but not chic!! AVOID. The room was absolutely freezing and the heating went off at midnight. Not acceptable for December with a thin duvet an no blankets. The fixtures and fittings are tired, broken. The cups in the room had dirty water in them when we arrived. The bathroom tiles had mould and the whole room smelt mouldy . I opened the wardrobe door and the mirror on the front of it literally fell off and hit me. I noted the other wardrobe door had already been boarded up, so clearly the other mirror had already fallen out. At breakfast we were told by the chef that only two breakfasts could be cooked at one time as he only had a small pan and it was full English or nothing. People were sat waiting - for ages - ridiculous. The bar staff in the evening had a debate and checked all the half empty crusty bottles on a rickety old shelf as they’d never heard of amaretto. The limited parking advertised on the website means driving up and down the road to find a non resident parking place - which there wasn’t.

Summary: A quaint old building with such noisy plumbing that it was difficult to sleep.

Summary: The heating in the rooms needs a major improvement, i have never felt so cold in my life!! When I woke up this morning I was shivering. I had breakast in the bar, but the food was cold before I could eat half of it.

Summary: A great little B&B and a fantastic little pub. The room was warm and comfy. The pub was traditional, just as a pub should be. Excellent service too.

Summary: The place is lovely. Over 500 years old. Fantastic court area. And staff was very friendly and helpful. The room i thought i booked wasnt the same on the pictures Advertised fridge in rooms. None had them. The manager sorted a different room for us which we was very happy with. He did agree with us that the picture was very miss leaning. That was on hotel.com Breakfast was very good and we had a meal there too which was excellent. We stayed in room 10. Which was big and lovely. Some of the other reviews where not good. But its a 500 years old. We loved the character of the building. We booked 2 nights as we went to harry potter studios which is only a 15 mins drive from there. There is no parking. Only on the street. Which gets full.

Summary: The friendliness of the staff and and excellent breakfast were good points and so was the location. Good value for money.
