Positive: Jenna and Dean are wonderful hosts! They put together an incredible team at the guests’ disposal, which made my stay truly memorable. The location of this hotel, right on the beach and surrounded by a fishermen’s village, is what moved me the most. By staying at this hotel, you are helping the local community. I truly experienced what it is like to live in an isolated village, surrounded by countless children; it was incredible to disconnect and reflect. For nature lovers, the beach is a turtle nesting site; if you are lucky, you may see some at dusk.

Negative: You are literally at the end of the world, so expect occasional power outages, but I'd say it's part of the experience...

Positive: The owners, Dean and Jenna, are very gracious hosts. They work hard to ensure their guests are comfortable and are enjoying their stay. It is greatly appreciated! Additionally, them and their team worked non-stop to ensure their new room was ready for us to occupy. The room and bathroom were very spacious and comfortable. I also didn't have to use my adapters as they equipped the room with USB outlets and fit UK/EU/US/PH plugs!

Negative: As the resort is relatively new, perhaps a room for improvement would be that staff have a uniform/resort shirt to easily identify who you can speak with for requests/assistance.

Positive: The sanctuary will forever stay in my heart. Hosts and staff are simply amazing! Good location and crossing the river was an adventure. I got to see turtle eggs that were laid and will be hatching in January. I loved all of it!!

Positive: I had a wonderful stay at this accommodation in Bucana Beach. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, always making sure I felt comfortable and well taken care of. I had a few minor issues during my trip, and they handled everything quickly and with a great attitude, which made a huge difference. The atmosphere was relaxed, the location was beautiful, and the service exceeded my expectations. I truly appreciate their hospitality and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Bucana.
