Positive: - The Sanctuary was like in the description ♥️ - The service was great. - All the staff was welcoming and ready to help anytime (the owners as well as all the staff, especially Shirley ♥️), and very accomodating 👍 - Calm place, clean beach, next to a village... Perfect to relax! 😎🍹 - So many things...! 😌

Negative: - The bumpy road to finally have access to the location (hopefully they have a good driver 👍). - The mattress could be a bit more comfortable (aside from that, the room is convenient thanks to air con, fan and spacious bathroom 👍). - Honestly, commplicated to find any other thing we were not satisfied with! 😉👍♥️

Positive: Where to start! First and foremost I'd like to express massive thanks to Dean and Jenna who are an awesome couple, they went way beyond being mere hosts - they became firm friends who went the extra mile on numerous occasions for me. All of their staff were friendly and responsive - making my stay at The Sanctuary the stuff that dreams are made of. I was a a guest here for 8 weeks,staying in the beach hut which provided non-stop air conditioning and fresh bedding every other day.I highly recommend this fantastic beacfront resort to anybody seeking serious rest and relaxation. The food was delicious -especially the salads, burgers and toasted sandwiches! and the WIFI stable and reliable ( I streamed live sport without a glitch) I will definitely return at some stage in the future,it was everything I wanted my holiday to be and more! Positive: The Sanctuary absolutely lives up to its namesake: it is a total oasis on the island. From the moment we got picked up from the owner, we had a fabulous stay here, and wanted for nothing. The resort itself is beautiful, calm and clean, and the rooms are bright, airy and comfortable. The restaurant and bar is amazing, and we ate some of the best food of our trip to El Nido here (the shrimp tempura is a must!). The staff couldn’t be friendlier, and the owners (Jenna and Dean) make you right feel at home. Location-wise, you’re basically on a private beach - able to walk out of your room straight into the sea!We organised to have a private sunrise yoga lesson and went to a couple of local bars/ restaurants and massage parlours, but it’s a far cry from some of the overcrowded beaches elsewhere on the island. Couldn’t recommend a stay at the Sanctuary more, the only wish you’ll have when leaving is that you’d booked more time here!

What i realy loved about the The sanctuary is that it is situated on a beautiful beach close to the local fishing village. I loved ever minute of my stay there and would love to return one day.
