Summary: We come to Minneapolis every year for a baseball experience. Last year we stayed at the Royal Sonesta and arrived to the city early. We asked about an early check in and was told it would cost $40. We wandered around the city instead. This year we went to the Mall before check in time. We arrived at the hotel at 4:00 (check in time). We were told our room was not ready. We were offered a drink (okay but only for a little while). We finished our drink about 5:00 and tried to check in again. Still not ready! We were going to attend the baseball game that evening at 6:40 so we wanted to freshen up etc after traveling all day. Our room still was not ready before we had to leave for the game. After the game (9:30) we were able to check in. I do think we should have been offered more than just a free drink for all the inconvenience. I would like a response from you to know that you are addressing this concern.

Summary: The hotel is really neat! The beds were comfy. The staff were all very friendly. The only issue I had is the carpets can make you feel dizzy because of the pattern. All that said, I would definitely stay here again!
