Positive: The location was spectacular

Negative: The room had a nice garden area ideal for our dog, however it was a bit tiered and in need of some attention the outside furniture was very rusty and unusable.The shower had no screen or curtain which meant that the water sprayed all over floor making the floor very slippery. The dinner menu was short which can usually mean a good standard of food. Two of the choices were fish and chips or burger and chips there wasn’t anything that was ‘special’ and I could only say that it was ‘ok’ We are now used to staying in dog friendly locations some of which charge. Here is a suggestion, why not take a deposit of say £50 and if there are no issues with the dog it’s returned? This might sound harsh criticism which isn’t intended it is a fantastic place in a wonderful location just in need of some TLC

Positive: Good Dinner and breakfast. Lovely view. Great size room.

Negative: Room was very hot. The pool was out of use but we weren’t informed of that when we checked in. The garden looked like it needed some attention. I expect it was a grand place once but it’s starting to look tired.

Positive: The Lovely sea and garden view from the restaurant. Proximity to the beach and coast path. Home from home, charming staff and guests, very family friendly, great garden for relaxing in. Very tasteful decor, comfortable and spacious studio with our own kitchen area. The food was excellent and the dinner reasonably priced. Very nice indoor swimmining pool session just for our family. A good warm up after sea swimming.

Summary: Utterly memorable, refreshing stay in a most beautiful part of Cornwall.

Positive: Great location. Very friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. Comfortable and spacious room. Lovely grounds looking towards the sea. Food very good - Sunday BBQ was exceptional.
