Positive: nice lay out of the room, good furniture, kitchenette well equiped. Overall good quality. Great view. Excellent location

Negative: WC door was “Barn door”-type sliding door: did not completely close off the WC…not a matter of wear&tear, but clearly a (rather silly) design choice. Light switches were a bit of a nightmare….every combination of switches on/off seemed to produce a different outcome Shower did not heat up properly, sometimes

Summary: great suite, great riverview, but with silly drawbacks, especially at that price

Positive: Great location, lovely outlook and no traffic noise. Light-filled rooms and minimal but adequate kitchen appliances. Good breakfast in the Hotel, just two minutes walk away.

Negative: The stairs - we were two floors up - were very steep, so if you have heavy luggage that could be a problem.

Summary: Great location, a delightful city, river ferry just three minutes walk away.

Positive: The room was in good condition, very clean. It has a lot of space and the amenities were goos

Negative: You can clearly hear the footsteps of the guest in the room above. Every step is a "bang", which is annoying. Also the water of the bathroom sink faucet had very little pressure

Negative: It was perfect, however because the suites are in a very old building, the staircase was too steep. Carrying heavy luggage up the staircase is therefore quite dangerous and no one was able to help me. This should be made clear on the booking page, just in case anyone has mobility issue or injuries

Location, the suite, the interior, the windows, the bath, the difference in levels in the room, the easy check-in in the beautiful 'mother hotel Huis Vermeer', the breakfast and the city. O and most comfy AUPING beds. Beware if you book, you might don't want to leave the room ;)
