Positive: It’s bigger than it looks in the pictures. The surrounding scenery is beautiful.

Negative: My only concern was the water doesn’t look very clean so I do recommend bringing bottle water. But either than that absolutely nothing else. I loved it!

Summary: It was perfect, we had such a good time.

Positive: The rooms were Sun and river facing plus there was a braai area and both wood and charcoal included. That was a nice touch and pleasant surprise. Beauty was amazing!

Negative: Perhaps they should light scented candles before guests arrive and really dust properly remove the cob webs.

Positive: Nice and quiet. There were coffee, tea, milk, sugar and rusks for breakfast. We didn't stay long, only slept over for a wedding.

Negative: A bit of smell coming from the river

Positive: I loved the constant sound of the river nearby. The lush green trees and surrounding gardens. The place is so peaceful and quiet. We felt safe and secure. We had everything we needed in the cottage. The staff was friendly and helpful. Awesome to have had all the small things that are easily forgotten like mosquito plugs and firelighters. Fans in all the rooms really helped with the heat. Kitchen fully equipped. Awesome stay

Negative: A cover/pergola on the veranda would be great in order to still be able to sit outside during times when its raining so the braai experience can continue despite the rain.

Summary: If you need time out and relaxation, this place is your best bet.
