Summary: For the price point, every staff member should be going above and beyond. Some did: Daniel at the beach, the young lady at check in, the bellman at check in. But many acted as if we were bothering them if we had a request or a question. Again, for price point, service should be above and beyond, and many times it was avg or below avg. Beach service was very slow and infrequent, “starts” at 11:30 (too late) and in reality never had a server before 12ish, then took 30-45 min to get food. Restaurants were both 7/10. Nothing to write home about. For the money spent, we won’t be returning. We’ve stayed at comparable properties within a mile or so, with 10/10 restaurants and 10/10 service.

Summary: Poor service. Room had to be changed, still had problems. Need to get the basics right. Property needs an update. Staff need to be more reactive to issues. There are so many hotel options in the area, go elsewhere.

Summary: Upgrade was supposed to be in reservation notes (per Ritz area executive) but were not and refused upgrade even though property was EMPTY. Then at check in told we would be given instead an "oceanview" room but received exactly the same room that we already had booked. A shell game. Hotel and beach bars are ridiculously small for such a large property. Pay a huge "Resort Fee" but they still nickel and dime guests on other fees.
