Summary: We arrived early and had requested an early check in but this was not available. We were able to leave our cases at the hotel while we went to the theatre though. When we arrived back to the hotel I had requested and paid in advance for balloons “celebration” package to be added to the room, which was chargeable for £10. In the room were 6 latex balloons on the bed, which was quite disappointing considering it was a chargeable service. The pool was also a little disappointing at £15pp to have a swim. And my son, who had been charged as an adult for the reservation at the hotel, was then told he was a child in the leisure centre and couldn’t swim till after 9am, when swimming lessons were taking place. This wasn’t great as we had planned to go for an early morning swim before our plans for the day. The room itself was small, but the bed was comfortable and everything was very clean. The guide on the Tv didn’t work, so it was a guess to find a program to watch. Complimentary water and cold glasses in the fridge, which was nice. Breakfast was nice, food was hot. Usual breakfast options. Restaurant was clean. We have stayed in many hotels in London including this one on numerous occasions, but this time overall for the amount we paid, just under £350 for one night, we wouldn’t return.

Summary: Hotel cleanliness was excellent, with hand sanitizers located around reception, lounge & dining areas. Room was clean & in good condition including bedding towels etc. Breakfast was plentyful with a good choice of hot or cold food available & again very good. Location for hotel with underground a short walk away & bus stops just outside was a bonus to get around (C1 to & from Victoria train station) was perfect for what we had planned. Would recommend & will stay here again.

Summary: We love The Rembrandt and stay here every time we’re in London. First, the location is perfect in prestigious South Kensington. Near V&A Museum, Natural History Museum, Kensington Gardens, walking distance to two tube stations, plenty of restaurants, pubs, grocers and liquor stores, and walking distance to Harrod’s. The rooms are clean and decorated beautifully. Nespresso machines and fridge in each room, plus coffee, tea, and biscuits. The breakfast buffet is included with your room, the restaurant and bar are decent if you want to have a meal or cocktail in versus going out. I also recommend the Afternoon Tea. The staff are so friendly and helpful. They greet you anytime you arrive in the lobby, whether it’s coming down from the elevator for breakfast or at the end of the day after site seeing. My British husband and I are in London to visit his family almost every year, and when we do we will always stay at The Rembrandt.
