Summary: Me and my one daughter had a nice overnight stay with a good sleep. My another daughter (she had a competition next day and needed a good sleep) had a terrible night. They could not sleep as it was very loud because of the wedding party happening in the hotel. It would be nice that people are aware of events happening while they stay there and they could affect they sleep.

Summary: A second lengthy stay whilst working Birmingham NEC 15 minutes away. Hotel offers good facilities if not somewhat tired and dated, however some rooms were being upgraded during our stay. Great food (5 stars) excellent bar, large car park, no issues

Summary: It’s been a year since I stayed here and only selected due to location and another preferred hotel being full. The rooms are still shabby, furniture scratched, decor chipped and dated…and an horrendous damp smell from the carpet/bathroom. No protector on the mattress, which all you can hear are the springs. Just drab, dated and definitely in need of a refurb. I just knew when I saw the corridor carpet that no works have been done. Shame…as the bar and restaurant are super.

Summary: Bit apprehensive beforehand reading reviews as the hotel is undergoing refurb but honestly our room was excellent as it was one newly refurbished.To be fair it was a bit of a trek getting to it but it is an older building and not much they can do about that as it is also only a couple of floors so extends out the back considerably. carpets in corridors bit dirty but builders clearly in and out, and they seem to have painted bits that maybe should have waited until refurb finished - also whoever picked the colour scheme clearly likes green of all shades!!! Bar and bar staff great. Didn't try the food but will next time.But overall no problem recommending ...if you get a refurbed room. problem going back
