Summary: Good location, but everything was a little tired!

Summary: Room newly renovated to a high standard, and very comfortable. The main issue was that their was no or very ineffective air-conditioning on what was one of the hottest and muggiest nights of the year. Also, the corridors heading to the room were in a poor state of repair, with most ceiling tiles missing. Unsure if this was part of an ongoing renovation. Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming throughout.

Summary: First put us in a room which was the last room before renovation works so it was very noisy so went back to asked to be moved which they did with no problem but the next room was so hot and with no air conditioning in the room had to go to go ask for a fan the bed was a little soft for my liking but that’s just me liking a harder bed the bar area was very nice a little expensive for drinks but a well looked after the room itself was outdated and was only told the swimming pool was closed until November also wasn’t told when booked that there was a £10 parking charge so for us we won’t be staying there again but you have to try these places
