Positive: We were given a warm welcome by the lovely Christine. The room was immaculate and beautifully decorated with some lovely extra little touches. Plenty of tea, coffee and milks We had a lovely evening meal and breakfast.

Positive: Staff were so attentive, professional, friendly and so welcoming. Food menu was varied and reasonably priced. Portion sizes were generous and food was cooked to perfection. Decor overall was beautiful, homely and calming. Our room was so clean and much thought had gone into its decor. Bed was huge and comfy. Fluffy towels. Quiet at night so we slept really well. Enjoyed our 2 night stay and came home feeling very relaxed.

Positive: Christine runs a superb hotel where attention to detail and customer care is second to none and nothing was too much trouble from the superbly appointed room to the fresh, plentiful and delicious home cooked food - thanks to cook jane who was always happy. Having stayed at lots of hotels recently the red lion was service and excellence you rarely see.these days. Thank you

Positive: Perfect location for a trip to RAF Conningsby. Plenty of parking available too. The room was a good size with an en-suite bathroom. It was very clean and fresh, with water, tea & coffee also supplied. The food at breakfast was excellent, with a wide range of items available. I had my dinner there on both nights and again, there was a varied menu available.

Summary: Excellent for a base when visiting Lincolnshire.
