Positive: It was peaceful and had a pleasant outlook.

Negative: The property was very dusty which I guess can’t be helped in a converted barn. The double bed with cane base was very hard and uncomfortable. The oven door did not close so oven did not cook properly. The lighting was poor. The kettle was disgraceful. There were windows that didn’t fit properly, very draughty. There was mould on the ceiling in bedrooms and bathrooms.

Summary: The property appears unloved.

Positive: We were asked to pay an extra 200 euros the minute we walked in. Beware. The explanation was we had to pay for heat and electricity which is usually a given. We were refunded some of the money when we left “after the meter was read”

Negative: OverPaying for heat and electricity. Beds need to be updated -very uncomfortable. Lovely house, lovely location but we are convinced the owner took advantage of us.

Summary: Robbed of 70 euros for 4 days of electricity.

Positive: I liked the fact it was easy for my mother to get around the house easy and once the heating was on it was cosy

Negative: stated for 9 people but really only catered for 6. Not enough cutlery or bedding. Heating and lighting very expensive.
