Summary: Lovely pub in the countryside. Rooms are noisy. Staff are lovely. Food is excellent.

Summary: A pretty village pub in a lovely location. Spacious room ( we were given an upgrade), very comfortable bed. Excellent well cooked breakfast. But best of all the very welcoming friendly and efficient staff. They could not have been more charming and helpful

Summary: Charming Inn full of character, staff were excellent and the food was delicious. The rooms we booked were a bit tired and beds could be better for the price of over £200 for I night bed and breakfast.

Summary: Our sixth visit, the Inn is based in an enchanting village , just a few minutes drive from Glyndebourne Opera House, Every room is completely different, some very small, others offering plenty of space. Breakfast excellent. Staff willing, if sometimes a bit amateur. Slightly irritating that guests cannot run up a tab , but have to pay for any expenditure on odd coffees or beers on the spot: a bit unsophisticated.

Summary: We got our room 2,5 hours too late just to find an unclean room with a squeaky bed which also turned out to be very noisy from both other rooms and the pub. Although we asked the management to mend our bed it was never sorted out. The restaurant's food was not good and still quite expensive. However, great breakfast and location very nice for the price of a five star hotel...
