Positive: - staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. - the hotel was very quiet during my stay, so me and my family had a peaceful time. - the location is great unless you area big group/family.

Negative: - big cars (7 seaters) struggle a little bit specially at night, whether to reach the hotel or go out from the hotel. Inner streets around the hotel are very narrow and usually cars/motorcycles are parked to the left and the right. So i had most of the drivers taking me to complain about the place. - other than that nothing i did not like.

Positive: Really amazing hotel!!! 5/5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - high-tech brand new modern hotel - rooms are amazing design and very cozy - amazing breakfast very fresh and diversified - service was impeccable! Such kind staff. They helped us out for everything, even gave us a free car ride on our way back. - price is really good for this level of quality - location is perfect in the hutong alleys of pekin which makes it a unique authentic experience, in a calm square with beautiful sunlight I totally recommend it! I will come back anytime when I return to Beijing. Thank you very much to the kind staff for their service, from cooks to reception concierges! Congratulations!!❤️

Positive: I didn’t expect there to be a restaurant under my room, and the strong food smells were overwhelming, especially on weekends when my room smelled heavily of garlic. Even the air filter couldn’t help. The breakfast was disappointing, mainly made of processed foods that didn’t feel fresh. It would be better to offer less variety but higher quality.

Negative: Housekeeping was very very basic. Additionally, I had to ask over 8 taxi drivers to get back to the hotel. Most demanded 200 Yuan and pressured me because they knew there were no other options for foreign guests in the cold. This made the stay less enjoyable. Overall, my experience was disappointing due to the smells, breakfast quality, and taxi issues. Hopefully, the hotel can improve on these points.

Positive: We had a fantastic experience at the Purple Horse Hotel in Beijing. The hotel is very new, beautifully designed, and feels luxurious from the moment you enter. Our room was spacious, spotless, and equipped with modern features such as automatic curtains and other smart technology—very comfortable and impressive. Another convenience we really appreciated was the self-laundry room being located on the same floor as our room, making it incredibly easy to wash and dry clothes during our stay. The staff were excellent: polite, friendly, and professional, offering 5-star standard service throughout our visit. We also enjoyed the restaurant on the first floor—the food was delicious and exceeded our expectations. The location is another highlight. It’s near the center of the city, making it convenient to reach major sightseeing spots, shopping areas, and all kinds of stores. Although the hotel is located inside a hutong, which means some taxi or Didi drivers may be reluctant to drive in, you simply need to ask them to enter. The hotel is only a short 2–3 minute walk from the main street, so access is easy and stress-free. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would gladly choose the Purple Horse Hotel again next time we visit Beijing. Highly recommended!

Positive: Its a beautiful little cosy and very stylish hotel with luxurious rooms. The staff were so friendly and helpfull, we really felt welcome! They helped us with reserving restaurants and give us good tips on how to get around. The breakfast was very tasty and offered a lot of different options, the staff actively asked us our feedback on dishes and we really appreciated their attentiveness and friendliness. We loved the location close to metro stations and lively hutong area, and just walking distance or a couple stops from most tourist places. Bed was comfortable and the hotel and room super clean. We would definately return to the Purple Horse when we visit Beijing again!
