Summary: Absolutely Lovely staff … friendly and welcoming. They couldn’t do enough for us Sadly this does not take away from the tired rooms. We had booked a suite which was better when we viewed it but due to a significant leg injury I could not get up and down the stairs. … So we asked and were moved to a basic room on the ground floor (We didn’t ask for refund on room and wasn’t offered one) so paid over the top for our 3 nights. Bed was comfy and tea and coffee facilities good but room was dingy, dark, smelt a bit fusty and in desperate need of a lick of paint and updating. Food was good quality pub food but not better than that. Breakfast was good too. All in all we had a restful stay as planned but surroundings were sadly worse than home so wouldn’t return just for those reasons.

Summary: Clean room and comfy bed. I think overall could do with some updating as two of the rooms I went into the leather on the headboard was peeling away and looked like it had been scratched.

Summary: Lovely spacious family room with lovely homely touches. Lovely breakfast. Staff were very helpful when we needed them. For provided and set up for our baby.

Summary: The rooms were clean and in good condition. There was no information given to us about breakfast but we had to leave before anyway but it would have been nice to know. The bathroom in room 11 had very noisy pipes the whole time, had to wear earplugs and still had disturbed sleep. Unfortunately my granddaughter was sick during the night and when I tried to apologise for the mess in the room I was unable to get through the side door even though reception was supposed to be open at 7am. As we were rushing for a flight there wasn’t the time to go looking for a staff member.
