Positive: This is a very well renovated tiny terraced cottage, on a road that leads from the High Town to the Low Town, ideal for one person or a couple and very close to the High Town centre. There is an excellent view over the Severn Valley. It is very well equipped, with a welcoming living area, excellent kitchen facilities and equipment, a firm comfortable King size bed, and an amazing bathroom, with bath and large shower. Lashings of hot water. So good I decided not to go out on one cloudy day, just to enjoy its ambience, including the postage stamp motif throughout! There is a south-facing area outside with a table, chairs and sunshade and that view! And the owner is very approachable and provided linen and towels, basic foodstuffs like salt and sugar, and a welcome gift. I would not hesitate to return.
Negative: These are not criticisms, just comments that might be helpful. (1) Although very well equipped (the kitchen even passed my eggcup test - most places do not) I would have appreciated an oven-proof dish and a small microwave oven. (2) Although the bedroom is lovely, it has a sloping ceiling (like a Normandy Gite) so cannot accommodate a wardrobe. There is an attic room on the second floor with a dressing table and hanging space. (3) The accommodation would not be ideal for those who find steep hills or stairs difficult. (4) There are public car parks within 5-10 minutes' walk. However, during my stay most charged £1.20 an hour between 8am and 6 pm, or £12 a day (half that price on Sundays) and they fill up quickly. However, Innage Lane (about 10 minutes walk away) was large and much cheaper - £13 a week! Alternatively, make private car parking arrangements before you arrive.
Summary: A beautiful cosy cottage in the heart of Bridgnorth

Positive: Lovely little cottage, full of character and charm. Nice and clean, with very good facilities. In a perfect location for getting around Bridgnorth.
Negative: Nothing to dislike about this property. If your well over 6ft tall you are going to have to duck down a lot upstairs but it wasnt a problem for us.
