Positive: I liked the trees plants flowers and breeziness all around the property and pool. There were 3 dogs on the premises which was a plus for me. The ocean at Foul Bay can be heard in the distance. My hostess brought some starter supplies for the fridge which was awesome! The hosts were both gracious kind and accommodating and shuttled me back and forth from the airport. Anthea drove me to the grocery store and also to the beach one day and picked me up later. For the rest of the time she connected me with someone who taxied me around as needed.

Negative: Nothing.

Positive: Anthea and Nick couldn’t do enough for us. From picking us up and dropping off at the Airport, to taking us grocery shopping on Day 1. Organising a hire car for us at excellent rates. Making a fruit punch with fruits from her garden and making a local dish of Ackee. The Pool House was comfortable and well equipped. The pool was a real bonus. One real bonus was an excellent washing machine, we took far too many clothes. The aircon in the bedroom was excellent and made sleeping much easier. The surrounding gardens were lush and colourful. Lastly, the three friendly dogs improved the stay.

Negative: There is a mosquito problem, we were both bitten quite a lot even though we used mosquito repellant.

Summary: Two week break in the sun.

Positive: Lovely house in a pretty setting close to a gorgeous beach. There was an issue with the pool which was communicated to us ahead of arrival so no nasty surprises. Anthea fed us, showed us where the shops were and was the perfect host helping us to feel very much at home.
