Positive: Spacious, light, lovely interiors, welcoming host, well equipped, beautiful gardens, very centrally located.

Negative: It was too hot in the bedrooms and we couldn’t always keep the windows open due to rain (although the beds were very comfortable and the rooms very nice). A hanging rail upstairs would have been helpful.

Summary: A lovely modern holiday home in a magical English garden, right in the heart of Henley on Thames!

Positive: Beautiful property, great facilities. Gracious host is very much on site and keen to help guests at all times. Lovely hot tub that they kindly put on for us.

Negative: Total inflexibility on arrival time (4-6pm window is strictly enforced, so do read small print). We ended up getting changed in a car park for our family event because a 15 minute grace period could not be accommodated. Shared space and facilities with another family not disclosed in the listing. Overflowing bins and dog excrement on drive.

Positive: Kirstie went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and it really is superb. The house is very central but in a garden oasis with a stunning view of the church. It really is very special with a high end finish - we couldn’t fault it and this is our second visit.
