Positive: My first time in India couldn’t have been better—I’m so glad I chose Polaris Homestay. The house is beautifully decorated, with incredible attention to detail in everything from the artwork to the furniture. It creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at home. I stayed for three weeks (with a few short trips in between) and even experienced two different rooms, each with its own unique character. Both were spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. The quality of the mattress and bedding was excellent, which made a big difference during a longer stay. The hosts were truly exceptional. Their hospitality is unmatched, and one of the highlights of my stay was the wonderful conversations we shared about life and travel. Despite their busy schedules, they always made time to check in and make sure everything was perfect. The staff also deserve special mention—friendly, kind, and incredibly attentive. They went above and beyond every day. Breakfast was another standout. The included local Kerala breakfast was delicious, healthy, and beautifully prepared—easily as good as any restaurant. I even missed it when I went on excursions! The location is ideal, within easy reach of shops, restaurants, the water taxi, and the beach. I can’t recommend this homestay enough. Positive: The exceptionally superior calibre of this newly restored, centrally located homestay is a total standout in Fort Kochi. There is even the convenience of a lift which is an absolute homestay luxury. What is so striking the minute you walk through the door is the standard of cleanliness, not a grain of dirt or cobweb to be seen. The bedding is super comfortable with fresh new linen, plush towels, modern bathrooms with strong hot water pressure and all amenities. This freshly painted homestay has been tastefully designed and decorated with caring staff to look after your every need. Small generous snacks are a delightful surprise. The breakfast is sensational. We were spoilt with thoughtfully prepared traditional Keralan dishes every morning and devoured them all.

Negative: There is nothing not to like. This new to market homestay is a hidden gem.
