Stunningly renovated original Queenslander nestled between Newrybar and Bangalow, yet just 20 minutes into Byron Bay. Kick off your shoes. Take a big deep breath; this home is made for unwinding. Enjoy the vistas of rolling hills, heated mineral salt plunge pool, outdoor fire pit and beautiful indoor fireplace. Eat the fruits of our kitchen garden and be lulled off to sleep by the soft, gentle sea breezes as you relax with a good book on the wide verandas. The Hinterland at its best.
The space
With a casual boho and classic "Byron" feel, this house has been impeccably restored to pay homage to the beautiful original features of the house. Traditional French doors open onto wide verandas, VJ paneled walls and ceilings throughout, original fretwork and 100 year old floors all combine with effortlessly sophisticated bathrooms and kitchens to create a one of a kind property. Set on just over an acre, there is plenty of space for kids to run around, engage in imaginative play or even play a game of footy or cricket. Small children should be supervised at all times though, as there are several retaining walls with drops of close to 1 meter on parts of the property.

Summary: Beautiful property in byron bay hinterland. The house has been lovingly restored and the gardens and lawn are immaculate. House had everything you would need for a short or long stay. Indoor and outdoor fireplaces were a highlight, especially in this cooler weather. Nice outdoor deck that was great to read a book or watch the sunset with a few drinks. Being a local myself, the location was perfect. 5 minute drive to Harvest cafe and Newrybar village and 10 minutes to Bangalow. Close enough to byron but far enough to avoid the traffic and busyness. Very private and peaceful. Only regret is not staying longer! Thank you.
