Positive: The sunset views on the upper terrace were exceptional. Vicki and Mitch were outstanding hosts. They communicated very well about the area, their property and things to do. The breakfast we purchased was phenomenal.

Positive: I loved it from the first minute I drove up and saw Vicki’s smiling face waving to me . The properties setting is unmatched . I was the only one for the two nights and was upgraded to the most spectacular room. I literally cried when I walked in. Vicki and Mitch made my stay perfect. I was sad to go. It’s set inside of Castle walls on the top of a high hill. You drive through the castle arch to enter . SPECTACULAR in every way ❤️

Negative: That I couldn’t extend my stay because they were booked the day I left .

Summary: My stay could not have been more perfect. Évoramonte is a very special place .

Positive: A lovely place. In a tiny town with amazing views and easy access (by car) to the rest of the Alentejo. Spotless, comfortable room with a great bathroom. Vicki is an amazing host, Mitch is a great cook (ask for his special vegetarian pizza 😉). We enjoyed our time here very much - obrigada Vicki and Mitch!

Positive: This place is a gem in the middle of Alentejo. Placed on a hill top, next to a castle. With an amazing view all over Alentejo. Wow. It was so nice and peaceful and the view was to die for. Vicky and Mitch were such wonderful hosts, and we really felt welcome from the moment we arrived. They are so easy going, kind and helpful, and it was so wonderful to spend a few days with them here at their home. I would recommend this place to everybody that wants to visit Alentejo.

Positive: We just finished an amazing 3 night stay at The Place Evoramonte! These accommodations sit high on a hill right next to a castle… and the view is spectacular! Mitch and Vicki were such wonderful hosts. They meet our every need. The included breakfasts were delicious… fresh squeezed juice, variety of coffees, cooked to order eggs and omelets plus a variety of of cheeses, meats, breads and more.
