Positive: A lovely place. In a tiny town with amazing views and easy access (by car) to the rest of the Alentejo. Spotless, comfortable room with a great bathroom. Vicki is an amazing host, Mitch is a great cook (ask for his special vegetarian pizza 😉). We enjoyed our time here very much - obrigada Vicki and Mitch!

Positive: The guesthouse is located in a beautiful small village with a castle and old walls. The rooms are cozy and give a warm, homely feeling. The hosts were wonderful, breakfast was excellent, and the terrace with its incredible view made our stay unforgettable. Highly recommended.

Positive: This place is a gem in the middle of Alentejo. Placed on a hill top, next to a castle. With an amazing view all over Alentejo. Wow. It was so nice and peaceful and the view was to die for. Vicky and Mitch were such wonderful hosts, and we really felt welcome from the moment we arrived. They are so easy going, kind and helpful, and it was so wonderful to spend a few days with them here at their home. I would recommend this place to everybody that wants to visit Alentejo.

Positive: We just finished an amazing 3 night stay at The Place Evoramonte! These accommodations sit high on a hill right next to a castle… and the view is spectacular! Mitch and Vicki were such wonderful hosts. They meet our every need. The included breakfasts were delicious… fresh squeezed juice, variety of coffees, cooked to order eggs and omelets plus a variety of of cheeses, meats, breads and more. Positive: Vicki and Mitch were the most gracious and welcoming hosts! The breakfast was superb, as were the dinners we ate there! The accommodations were clean, comfortable and next door to an amazing castle! What can’t be described in words was the most magnificent, never-ending views that go on forever! As visitors, we were very well taken care of, given great advice on what to experience in the area and would most certainly love to go back!
