Positive: We liked the quietness of the setting and the the house itself is lovely, offering facilities which makes a stay feel like home from home. As the weather was somewhat chilly, it was lovely that the host had put the heating on for our arrival. For where the barn is, it was an absolute treat to be able to order a Chinese and have it delivered.

Negative: The bed in the master bedroom could not be slept in as it’s badly in need of a new mattress. We also didn’t like the visits from the flies or wasps which kept appearing from nowhere. The surface cleaning seems good but parts would benefit from a deep clean we felt. The windows in the living room had quite a bit of cobwebs on and one of us had to end up not using the space because of all the sneezing that was experienced while being in that room.

Summary: Pigsty only by name. Facilities great but don’t expect a comfortable sleep.
