Positive: The Piglets is peaceful and cosy, and is well equipped with everything you need for a family break. It’s set on a private enclosure with secure gated entry. Extremely quiet with no road noise at all. The place was super clean and the beds were very comfortable. My little boy appreciated being able to play out in the fantastic garden! The host met us on arrival and showed us round, which was great. He lives next door but didn’t bother us during our stay. The location is fantastic, just a few minutes drive to two big retail parks with shops and restaurants. We didn’t go into York during our stay but I did see a bus just outside on the main road. We would definitely stay again! Thanks to Nipp and Ellie for a lovely stay.

Positive: The perfect, peaceful get away. Ideal for a family stay with children. Excellent facilities, spotlessly clean, picturesque and an added bonus of watching the cows graze at sunset. We will definitely be back.

Positive: Beautiful cottage in a perfect location, surrounded by fields but only a 10 minute drive to the city centre. Very comfortable and clean with everything we needed. Sat out on the patio in the evening with a lovely view and only the bleating of sheep as background noise, perfect.
