Our award winning, beautiful plantation style guesthouse is conveniently located just an hour west of downtown Atlanta within our 57 acre equestrian farm and only 10 minutes south of the beautiful college town Carrollton. The house sits across a small creek in a wonderful quiet area, surrounded by shady trees and the beauty of nature. It’s a real treat and the perfect port for your family and holiday vacation, romantic getaway, family re-union and even business people. The front and back porch area provide splendid views of the surrounding nature. The fresh and cozy furnishings add to the atmosphere of rest and relaxation. You will love the quiet privacy of this vacation home!
The main floor (sleeps 6) of the house is designed in an open living concept with a very spacious living/kitchen/dining area including an open fireplace. On the same floor you will find the large master bedroom, which is equipped with a king bed and a brand new, super comfortable Tuft and Needle mattress. The luxury en-suite bathroom includes dual sinks, shower and a large garden jet tub. Two queen bedrooms with a shared full bathroom complete this level.
The lower level floor can be booked for an ADDITIONAL COST (please inquire) and offers a 4th bedroom (sleeps 2), another large/full bathroom, a game room with soccer and air hockey table and a roomy entertaining area with TV and kitchenette (see rates for details).
You will have access to a beautiful salt-water pool in the summer months, which is located only a short walk across the creek at the main house. A jump from the diving board or just a refreshing swim will help you replenish after a long day at work. Or trot on by the barn and take a riding lesson to free your mind, body and soul!
Sometimes a good night out is a good night in. Carrollton has some of the best restaurants around but dining out all the time can be costly. The full kitchen offers you an alternative. Stock the fridge with your favorite food and drink and enjoy an evening to yourself. Better yet! Enjoy a fabulous dinner and don’t worry about what to do with left overs. Bring them back here to your house for later.

Georgia’s “little grand canyon” is a testament to the power of man’s influence on the land. Massive gullies as deep as 150 feet were caused simply by poor farming practices during the 1800s, yet today they make some of the prettiest photographs within the state. It’s located just 90 minutes from the guest house south of Columbus.

Summary: The house is fabulous, just as listed and the hosts are wonderful. They are quick to respond to problems or questions and the property is always in great shape. We love sitting on the front porch and watching the horses and lightning bugs. Carrollton is close by with just about everything you need and Atlanta isn't far away with lots to see and do.

Summary: The location is perfect. Only 15 minutes from the town of Carrollton, GA. The country location is peaceful. Not many guest homes are situated on a horse ,farm. To wake up in the morning and gaze on horses in their pasture is such a treat. The house is amazing. It is roomy and has everything that you would ever need. Our host, Katharina, was welcoming and had the house ready when we arrived. Communication was very easy. A real plus was the trails you could walk. Of course, petting the horses is always fun. I would highly recommend this property!

Summary: Spacious, relaxing, with every thing you need. Loved walking up the drive way to see the beautiful horses. We enjoyed all of the relaxation of country living with plenty of shopping in nearby Carrollton, GA. Don't miss the Wildlife Safari 50 miles south. If you've never ridden English saddle, I recommend it. Leigh is exceptional and very patient with first-timers. It's very different from western saddle. Our hosts, Katharina and Klaus along with their sons, were gracious and hard working in meeting all of our needs. We're booked again in 2022.

Summary: This vacation exceeded our expectations. The environment was very peaceful and the hosts were lovely. Our daughters loved seeing the horses to start and end the day and swimming in the pool. Everything was very clean and we had everything we needed!

Summary: Katharina & Klaus have a beautiful guesthouse. We loved every moment of our stay! The kids were especially impressed by the fruit basket/chocolate on the counter when we walked in, so sweet. The guesthouse was tastefully decorated and plenty of space for our family of five. Front and back porches are great for relaxing and hearing horses whinnying in the pasture. We loved meeting all the gorgeous horses and having the option to arrange a riding lesson one morning. Being able to use Katharina & Klaus’ pool at the main house was a huge plus, well maintained and super fun! The kids are already asking when we can visit again, we all highly recommend this unique stay!

Summary: This property was great we had a good time over all but the night before check out we were asked to checkout an hr early at 10:00am instead of 11:00am due to more guest checking in later that day at 3:00 pm. We had to cut out breakfast short and felt rushed when the host and cleaning crew showed up and waited outside for us to leave. It really ruined the mood of the entire trip especially since we paid to have the house until 11:00am and there was no compensation.

Summary: Family wedding at The Wright Farm. This home was perfect for a multi-generation group. Super clean, plenty of soft towels and hot water. We utilized both porches. Enjoyed watching the horses.
