Summary: The Peninsula hotel Beijing is in itself a remarkable manifestation of the savoir-faire of excellent hospitality. When you settle in your suite, you find that every need that might arise during your stay is already catered for; you just have to decide when. The staff was always very polite and attentive, and made sure that our stay was both excellent and unforgettable. The location of the hotel is superb; only 15 minutes walk to the Forbidden city, and close proximity to both shopping and restaurants.

Summary: The rooms at this hotel are excellent—spacious, well-appointed, and very comfortable. Housekeeping also deserves recognition for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and consistency throughout our stay. Unfortunately, the service in other areas fell far short of expectations. The concierge team was not particularly knowledgeable and offered little in the way of helpful guidance. Even more disappointing was the attitude of the bellboys and greeters, who seemed largely indifferent. There was no warm welcome, no greetings, and no proactive offer of assistance, which is surprising for a hotel of this caliber. Overall, while the physical aspects of the stay were impressive, the lack of attentive and engaging service made the experience disappointing.

Summary: It was such an amazing stay at The peninsula Beijing. They not only lived up to their reputation but exceeded our expectations in every way. Without even asking,our suite was upgraded to an even larger one, pre-decorated with balloons and a birthday cake to celebrate my husband’s birthday! It’s the first time staying at The Peninsula but it will not be our last! Thank you to the amazing team that made our stay a most memorable one

Summary: Well located hotel in city center with good connections to the metro and nearby shopping. Spacious suite but cleanliness was so-so. For example dirty cutlery was not refreshed. Toilet not properly cleaned several days. Breakfast very good variety and attentive service by staff. Smooth check in and check out. We also dined at the in-house restaurant which we can recommend for a cool experience with locally sourced products.
