Summary: This is a wonderful friendly, family pub. We had the good fortune to book off-season and the hotel/room type accommodation was of a very high standard. How many places offer fresh milk in the fridge for your Nespresso (4 varieties to choose from), or have a high quality TV that works well, great ?home-made shortbread. - not many. The restaurant is a go-to in the immediate area (of well-heeled discerning people) so supper and breakfast were both great - though I don't know what cooked would have been like as I had the continential stuff - lovely. But most importantly our hosts couldn't have been more helpful or kind - I felt very welcome. In fishing season I think you'll struggle to get a room and pay a bit more, but otherwise you'll have an absolute bargain here, and yes, I do give 1 star reviews if necessary

Summary: A beautiful pub in a quiet village in Hampshire. Food was great and the staff were very friendly. I felt at home and will definitely stay here again when in Andover.
